We take care of the people who take care of our patients
Our clinical and field staff receive all of the amazing benefits of our full time employees, as well as the following additional benefits:
We have several full-time physicians board-certified in hospice and palliative medicine, and we are partnered with the UNC School of Medicine to host a one-year ACGME-accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship. This fellowship is one of only four HPM fellowships in North Carolina, and we accept three fellows per year.
“This isn’t just a place to work — it’s a place to grow, to belong, and to do the most meaningful work of your life.”
— Team Member, Transitions LifeCare
We foster a work environment that recognizes the value of diversity and actively supports inclusion. We believe creating awareness supports compassion — and that involving people from different perspectives opens more doors for our patients and community.
From our strategic plan to day-to-day practices, inclusion is woven into everything we do. We offer cultural humility training at orientation, celebrate identity observances throughout the year, and seek out methods to build a workforce as diverse as the communities we serve.
Equal Opportunity Employer · 501(c)(3) Nonprofit · ACGME-accredited Fellowship
We offer shadowing and internship experiences in clinical and administrative settings — giving future healthcare leaders hands-on exposure to compassionate, patient-centered care. We’re also home to one of only four ACGME-accredited HPM Fellowships in North Carolina.
